El pasado mes de julio se llevó a cabo la conferencia final en el WS4 en Berlín - Alemania. El proyecto, "APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGY & KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER" es un modelo de sustentabilidad y uso de energia eficiente a través de una cooperación entre las universidades PUCE y TU Berlín.

En conjunto con el equipo docente de la PUCE, los estudiantes del taller Con Lo Que Hay y la oficina Ensusitio, fueron participes del primer intercambio académico, recibiendo un entrenamiento vocacional en construcción, en el centro "Berufsförderungswerk e.V.", Brandenburgo - Alemania.

Durante la semana recibimos las mismas clases que reciben los alumnos frecuentes del centro. Iniciamos con una visita a talleres e instalaciones, se nos entrego un uniforme de trabajo y tras una inducción teórica, iniciamos los talleres de mampostería y carpintería.

Durante la Conferencia final, se presentaron las posiciones de ambas partes sobre las expectativas iniciales del proyecto y lo alcanzando. Cave resaltar las palabras del Proff. Rueckert en donde menciona que el desarrollo del proyecto les ha abierto posibilidades hacia entender estos procesos no como un implante tecnológico sino comprensión mutua e intercambio de conocimiento.

Como una actividad cultural, se tuvo la oportunidad de conocer el edificio sede del Parlamento Alemán, "Reichstag." Posteriormente a eso, se llevó a cabo una reunión con el Sr. Congresista Thomas Feist, encargado de proyectos de Transferencia de Tecnología a nivel internacional.
